Maryland businesses with two (2) or more employees, (this could be an owner & a spouse), can purchase group medical insurance. There is a great selection of benefit options & pre-existing conditions are covered.
Even if the business of two (2) or more employees has one employee covered elsewhere, such as with a spouse, you need only to cover the one remaining person in order to receive a group benefits. The monthly cost is determined by the average age and the county the business is located in.
